Last Weekend Before Christmas Comes Out!

Boy does time fly! We've still got some fantastic Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving items at the store, but if that's what you're looking for you'd better be quick! Starting this coming Monday evening we'll be starting to convert the store over to Christmas! Why so early? The upcoming Holiday Open House on November 11 & 12, of course! And with SO MUCH Christmas stuff, we are anticipating a VERY long conversion.

That said, we KNOW you'll love Christmas at The Patch this year! The store will be a Christmas wonderland, full of goodies and gifts for those on your list as well as yourself. And with all our regular stock out on the floor this season you'll still be able to get all your favorite things!

Harvest Festival Summary!

This past weekend was the Annual Harvest Festival at Country Village, and BOY was it fantastic! There were pony and train rides for kids as well as an inflatable "bouncy" castle, and a face painter. On Saturday Japanese drummers took the stage in the afternoon, and a belly dancing festival went late into the night. Sunday saw Valentine's Performing Pigs on stage, and our close friend Gary McKibben Black Belt Magician entertaining crowds right in front of The Patch. For those of you who missed Gary, he'll be performing again on Saturday October 28th during the day at the store for our Happy Halloween Party - you and your kids will BOTH love Gary! In addition to all of this, there was a great craft show with everything from jewelry to paintings, fresh squeezed cider to fresh produce and fresh flowers.
If you missed the Harvest Festival, then mark two things down on your calendar right now - our Happy Halloween Party (October 27, 28, 29) and Country Village's Holiday Open House (November 11, 12) - you don't want to miss either of these events!

Loreena McKennitt soon to release a new album!

One of our favorite artists, Loreena McKennit, is close to releasing her newest studio recording. Loreena is a Canadian singer/composer who spends years researching her music. Primarily a Celtic artist, she blends music from around the world into truly moving pieces. Her newest album is titled "An Ancient Muse" and blends Scottish and Irish balladry with musical influence from Scandinavia to Spain, Greece to Turkey. "An Ancient Muse" will be released in mid-November.
Loreena's music is absolutely fantastic - come by the store to hear a sample! We stock all of Loreena's Albums:
